City is a saturated environment where abandoned places still exist, places we can qualified as non-places, places that have to be conquered. In the space between two architectures circulate only wind and light; the sky above the street is only birds territory. These mineral and empty spaces are for me imaginary fallow lands that I want to enlace. Dance reveals those spaces and opens them by spreading them.
A dance of reconstruction
Clairière Urbaine presents a dialogue from the body to the monumental. Sculpture unfurls alongside dance, delimits the spaces occupied by dancers, extends into the distance the support elements of movement, and reconstructs the perspectives which densify into sculpture in the course of the performance.
The female dancers flow into the materiality of the support and its reliefs. They integrate into the architecture and find strong supports that broaden their range of movement. This integration of the site gives free rein to their desire for space, plays with the volumes of the architecture, and invents trajectories which redraw it.
